Career Planning and Goal Setting

The Career Plan is a crucial step in empowering an associate to take control of his/her career. It encourages the individual to set their pace on the path to partnership by identifying specific goals to be reached and competencies to be acquired within a specified time period. The associate works with their team leader or supervising partner to craft a Career Plan to map out the particular competencies that they wish to work on during the review year. Each associate meets with his/her partner advisor on a quarterly basis to discuss and review the associate‚Äôs progress on the career plan. The plan and quarterly meetings create a road map for the associate to move from one level to another and provides a mentor to guide them through the development process.
