Fall Recruiting

We recruit law students who have an interest in our primary practice areas and who want to be a part of our team. We place a strong emphasis on academic and professional excellence, and we look for individuals who are committed to becoming excellent lawyers. We want our summer associates to inspire confidence among colleagues and clients, and to thrive with our team approach to problem solving. We value public service and believe that a well-rounded attorney should contribute to the community in which they live and work.

Our summer program is our primary source for hiring incoming associates, and it’s designed to give each summer associate a realistic view of the day to day practice of law at MLA. We want our summer associates to succeed and be a part of our team for years to come. Think you have what it takes? We will be participating in on-campus interviews to recruit for our upcoming summer associate classes. Please check the calendar to see if we will be coming to your campus. If not, please send your resume to the Recruiting Manager in your city of interest. For more information on our MLA Summer Program, please also look at our Summer Associate and FAQ sections.

Summer Associate Spotlight

"McKenna Long & Aldridge provided a summer experience enriching beyond expectations.  I worked on substantive, meaningful projects and built strong relationships with numerous members of the MLA team.  Partners welcomed summer associates to sit in on important meetings, both internal and client-oriented, and we were given an insightful and genuine sense of what it is like to work at the firm.  I truly felt the great team at MLA invested in my success and growth, not only during the summer but beyond, and I look forward to rejoining MLA."
