McKenna Long & Aldridge's San Francisco, California office is located at 101 California Street , in the heart of San Francisco's financial district. The San Francisco office was founded in 1968 by Paul Fitting, and was once known as McKenna & Fitting. Today, the San Francisco office offers experience and expertise in many of the areas in which the firm practices, including:

In addition to representing national and international clients, the San Francisco office's regional practice spans the entire San Francisco Bay Area, along with many of the major cities and counties in Central and Northern California, including Bakersfield, Fresno, Sacramento, and Auburn. We practice in all state and federal courts in California, including all four federal district courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. We also practice before many of the state and federal administrative tribunals and agencies in the area, and in many other courts and tribunals around the country.

The San Francisco office is active in pro bono work in the San Francisco Bay Area. McKenna Long & Aldridge participates in the Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge, and represents clients in a variety of pro bono matters, including landlord tenant, family law, estate planning, and non-profit counseling, particularly in the areas of corporate and labor and employment law. Attorneys in the San Francisco office also handle many different types of cases on a pro bono basis, which include prisoners' rights, death penalty appeals, political amnesty, and migrant farm workers' rights.
