PROFILE
Henry Sewell focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and restructuring while also maintaining a general commercial litigation practice.
With respect to bankruptcy and restructuring, Henry has extensive experience representing creditors' committees, trustees and debtors in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Cases and in pre-bankruptcy workouts. In addition, Henry regularly represents court appointed fiduciaries in SEC and CFTC enforcement actions.
In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Henry has extensive experience handling trials, arbitrations and appeals in a wide variety of complex matters including contract, business torts, corporate governance and control, technology, trade secrets and creditors' rights. Henry has particular experience litigating intellectual property protection matters and disputes involving the development, licensing and distribution of computer software, including defective software claims. In addition, Henry litigates extraordinary remedies including temporary restraining orders, preliminary and permanent injunctions and declaratory relief.
