McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP Hosting Press Conference Featuring Jasmine Guy to Launch NOtYours! Campaign to End Child Sex Trafficking

ATLANTA (January 23, 2013) - There is a child sex trade epidemic in America. Recently the FBI named Atlanta as one of 14 cities in the nation with the highest incidents of children used in prostitution. Each month, approximately two hundred to five hundred girls are commercially sexually exploited throughout Georgia and research has indicated that the average age of entry is between 12 and 14 years old.

In Georgia, more adolescent young girls are victimized by prostitution each month than there are people killed in car accidents each year. McKenna Long & Aldridge is proud to host NOtYours! (, an organization committed to bringing national awareness with an emphasis in Georgia and providing resources for grassroots organizations dedicated to rescuing and assisting victims of child-sex trafficking, as it officially launches “I Am NOt Yours!" campaign on January 31st, 2013. The organization will also introduce Actor/Dancer/Director Jasmine Guy as their national spokeswoman.

A press conference will be held at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP on January 31st with an esteemed panel that includes: Mayor Kasim Reed (Atlanta), Jasmine Guy (Spokeswoman), R. Mona Stephen (CEO/co-Founder NOtYours!), Stephanie Davis (Exec. Dir of Georgia Women for a Change), Deborah Richardson (Exec VP, National Center for Civil and Human Rights) and DeKalb County Sheriff Thomas Brown.
