McKenna Long adds 17 real estate, litigation attorneys to L.A. office

"These lawyers are a perfect fit with our existing real estate practice, and with the stimulus bill emphasizing shovel-ready infrastructure projects that require our joint expertise," MLA Chairman Jeff Haidet said.

Although real estate development practices are slow at law firms across the country, MLA Chariman Jeff Haidet said that the type of real estate work McKenna does is "robust."  The firm has been doing a lot of real estate restructuring deals and also is assisting the development of public and private partnerships to build roads and other infrastructure projects.
