Scotty Greenwood praises President Obama’s selection of David Jacobson as the new United States Ambassador to Canada.

Scotty Greenwood described the selection of David Jacobson to the Ambassador post as "terrific" and "an inspired choice," saying that "having someone who’s as powerful and capable with such close ties to the president is a huge plus not just for Canada but for the entire Canada-U.S. relationship."

Obama has been criticized for choosing friends for diplomatic appointments, but Greenwood says these accusations are unfair.
