Two New Tax Attorneys Join the Atlanta Office

April 7, 2008 - (Atlanta, GA) - McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA) is pleased to announce that Scott A. Harty and Ann E. Scott’s practice includes expertise in a variety of corporate tax issues including domestic and international corporate restructurings, mergers & acquisitions and tax controversy matters ranging from international audits to voluntary disclosures. Ann’s practice specializes in all facets of executive compensation, retirement plans, and health and welfare benefits, as well as tax compliance issues.
Scott received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his LL.M in Tax from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, Florida, New York and before the U.S. Tax Court. Scott is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Taxation Section and the International Fiscal Association.
Ann received her J.D. and LL.M in Tax from the University of San Diego School of Law. She is admitted to the State Bars of California, Georgia and Florida. She is an active member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries.
