April 8, 2008 - (New York, NY) - McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA) is pleased to announce that Christopher F. Graham will join the Firm’s New York office as a partner in the Litigation practice group specializing in bankruptcy, effective April 7th, 2008.
Mr. Graham joins MLA from Thacher Proffitt, where he served as Chair of the Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights practice. Mr. Graham has extensive experience in all facets of debtor/creditor matters including Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, and related litigation and arbitration proceedings. He has also handled liquidations of stockbrokers under the Securities Investor Protection Act and assorted out-of-court restructurings.

Mr. Graham is a recognized authority on Chapter 11 cramdown plans and defenses. He has been frequently quoted on these topics. Since 1999, he has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John's University School of Law teaching LLM classes on Chapter 11, reorganization, and bankruptcy procedures.

Mr. Graham received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.S.B.A, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University. He is admitted to the New York State Bar. He is a two term Director of the American Bankruptcy Institute where he also Chairs the law school committee.
