David Heil, Chief of Staff for Congressman Randy Cunningham, Joins Former Senator Zell Miller and Powell Moore as a Senior Advisor

WASHINGTON, DC - (March 14, 2005) - David Heil, Chief of Staff for Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham, is joining the national Government Affairs practice of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP as a Senior Advisor based in the firm's Washington, DC office. Among other recent additions to the federal arm of the practice are former Senator Zell Miller and Powell Moore, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs. McKenna Long & Aldridge's national Government Affairs practice provides strategic solutions to matters involving the intersection of government and private enterprise in such areas as tax, international trade, homeland security and defense, government contracts, health policy, agriculture, higher education, energy and environmental regulation.

As Chief of Staff for Congressman Cunningham, Mr. Heil served as the primary political and policy advisor, acting as a liaison with the White House, leadership offices, district leaders and business representatives. Mr. Heil previously served as Administrative Assistant to Congressman Johnny Isakson and as Legislative Director to Congressman Robert Ney.
