Larry Ebner is quoted extensively in an editorial about Bates v. Dow AgroSciences in the June edition of Pest Control magazine. Mr. Ebner heads the Appellate Practice Group at McKenna Long & Aldridge in Washington, DC. He advises pesticide manufacturers on how to prevent product liability, and helps them devise and pursue special defenses, such as FIFRA preemption, when confronted with litigation. During the past 15 years, Mr. Ebner has argued FIFRA preemption in numerous federal and state appellate and trial courts throughout the United States. In Bates v. Dow AgroSciences, he submitted an amicus curiae brief to the Supreme Court on behalf of CropLife America and the National Pest Management Association.
