John (Jack) G. Horan has joined the Washington, DC office of McKenna Long & Aldridge as a partner in the Government Contracts Department.
Jack is a government contracts lawyer with a sub-specialty in civil and criminal defense work for government contractors. He has represented clients related to all aspects of federal, state and local government procurement and grant law. His experience includes counseling, bid protests, claims preparation, complex litigation, internal investigations and voluntary disclosures. In addition, Jack has represented government contractors and their employees under investigation by government agencies and federal and state grand juries.
Jack has counseled clients on issues related to all aspects of the solicitation, proposal, award, performance and post performance process. He also has extensive experience in corporate compliance programs, internal investigations and in representing clients in government investigations.
Jack was previously with McDermott Will & Emery. He also spent time with the U.S. Attorney's office. Jack graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with honors and from Rutgers University, cum laude.
