PROFILE

Arash Heidarian is an associate in the Government Contracts practice of McKenna Long & Aldridge where he represents contractors in all aspects of government contracting and construction law including negotiation, award, performance and termination.  Arash also has experience performing internal investigations of government contractor compliances with regulatory requirements and working on procurement fraud issues.  

Prior to joining the firm, Arash practiced at a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C., providing substantial assistance to the government contracts, litigation and constructions teams.  Arash also worked as a law clerk for Alexandria City’s Public Defender, the Supreme Court of Rhode Island under the Honorable Francis X. Flaherty and the United States Agency for International Development’s International Procurement and Ethics Administration department.

Arash received his LLM in Government Procurement Law from the George Washington University Law School, and his J.D., cum laude, from the Roger Williams University School of Law.  While in law school, he was president of the International Law Student Society and a member of the Jessup Moot Court Team.  He received his B.B.A., cum laude, in marketing information systems from James Madison University.

Arash has published articles and co-authored text book supplements in the field of procurement fraud and ethics and construction.
