PROFILE
Lauren Bellamy focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation.
While in law school, Lauren was very active in the advocacy program: she served as the Executive Chairperson of the Moot Court Board, she was a semi-finalist in the Intrastate Moot Court Competition, and a regional semi-finalist in the American Association for Justice Mock Trial Competition. Additionally, Lauren served as a pupil in the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court. Lauren was also an active member of the Black Law Students Association, serving as the Chairperson of both the Recruitment and Alumni Association Committees. In her third year, the Faculty of the University of Georgia School of Law honored Lauren with the Kerry Harike Joedecke Memorial Award for Excellence.
Prior to law school, Lauren interned in the External Affairs Division of the Office of the Governor.
