John McJunkin is a partner in the Washington, DC office of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP. His practice focuses on business bankruptcies and commercial litigation. Mr. McJunkin works extensively with creditors in protecting their rights during workouts, litigation, foreclosures, and bankruptcy.

On behalf of his clients, Mr. McJunkin regularly coordinates bankruptcy representation and related litigation in jurisdictions across the nation. Mr. McJunkin's commercial litigation experience includes the prosecution and defense of numerous lawsuits and arbitrations arising out of disputes related to various lending issues as well as contractual matters, real estate disputes, franchise issues, title insurance matters and business torts. In particular, Mr. McJunkin has considerable experience litigating technology licensing issues, sales of assets and cash collateral matters in the context of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcies.
