Jimmy Barkin focuses on commercial real estate and commercial real estate finance. Jimmy has extensive expertise representing various types of lending institutions in a broad range of financing transactions, including conduit lending, REIT financing, construction lending and mezzanine financing involving a broad range of commercial real estate products such as shopping centers, office buildings, apartment projects and power plants. A significant part of his practice involves representing REMIC trusts in connection with loan assumptions and modifications. He also devotes substantial time to representing financial institutions in connection with the resolution of problem credits.

Jimmy also spends significant time representing individuals and institutions in connection with the acquisition, development and disposition of various types of commercial properties.
