Dan Baskerville specializes in state and local government affairs and has more than five years of lobbying experience at the Georgia General Assembly. He has extensive experience and knowledge of local government issues, especially in relation to all local governments within Fulton County, Georgia.
Dan concentrates on assisting the lawyers of the Government Affairs team with various state and local issues. At the state level, Dan represents the interests of a wide variety of clients at the Georgia General Assembly. These interests include environmental, educational, economic development, financial, health care and local government. At the local level, Dan works to assist various clients in obtaining economic development incentives, permits and licenses.
Prior to joining the firm, Dan was a lobbyist for the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. As director of the County Manager's Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, he was responsible for representing Fulton County's position on all state and federal legislation with potential impact on the County.
Additionally, Dan was the administrator of the Recycling Market Development Zone Program for Los Angeles County. Prior to that he was a policy analyst for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and also worked for the Mayor of New York, as a legislative aide in the Mayor's Washington, DC lobbying office.
