PROFILE

Matt Crosby is an associate in the Government Contracts practice group at McKenna Long & Aldridge's Washington, DC office.  His practice involves widespread areas of government contracting, with particular focus on bid protests, small business counseling, federal supply schedule contracting, and defense of qui tam actions.  Matt’s bid protest work has included successful prosecution and defense efforts before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Court of Federal Claims.  His small business counseling has assisted both small and large companies with issues relating to the regulatory complexities of federal and state socioeconomic programs.  Matt also has knowledge of District of Columbia government contracting.

Matt graduated cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law where he served as a student attorney in the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic.  Also, during law school, Matt completed two summer programs at GAO, serving as an intern and a summer associate within GAO’s Procurement Law Division.

Before attending law school, Matt worked as a rare and antiquarian book scout and seller.  He also worked in book production at the Smithsonian Institution Press.  Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Indiana University in 1996.
