PROFILE

Mark Kresloff is in McKenna Long & Aldridge's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice. Mark's practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications involving the biological sciences, as well as the electrical, electronic and computer fields. He has particular expertise in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the area of biomedical systems and devices, telecommunication systems, networks and network protocols.

Mark also has an extensive amount of litigation experience, as well as experience drafting freedom-to-operate studies, counseling clients on intellectual property issues such as patentability, validity, inventorship, and filing strategies, and preparing legal opinions relating to patent infringement and validity.

Prior to practicing law, Mark was a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications involving three-dimensional graphics processing for use in medical imaging, computer aided design systems and other computer display applications. Mark also served on active duty in the United States Air Force, where he was the Chief Flight Test Engineer for the A-10 aircraft. Mark also worked as a pathology technician for a number of years at one of the largest suburban hospitals in the New York Metropolitan area.

Mark received his J.D. from New England School of Law. He received his B.S. in Engineering from the University of Missouri and his B.A. in biology from La Salle College.
