Robert Bohn is an associate in McKenna Long & Aldridge's Los Angeles Office, where he is a member of the Government Contracts Practice Group. He is experienced in complex government contracts litigation, multi-party discovery disputes, motions and pleadings practice, strategic trial planning, and alternative dispute resolution. He has conducted numerous internal investigations into major weapon systems programs, focusing on allegations of Fraud, Waste and Abuse, Cost Accounting Standard Violations, and Quality Assurance Improprieties. Robert has extensively counseled clients in preparing and defending Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REA) and Certified Claims under the Contract Disputes Act (CDA), and has provided guidance on issues involving Compliance Programs, Subcontractor Management, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), State Public Records Acts, and the Department of Defense Voluntary Disclosure Program. Robert is also substantially skilled in areas pertaining to the implementation and administration of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and has provided counsel to contractors and individuals with regards to obtaining and maintaining personal and facility industrial security clearances.
Robert graduated with honors from Pepperdine University School of Law where he was a Trial Team member and competition participant. During law school, he participated in Pepperdine's Student Mentor Program as a mentor to first-year and transfer students. Prior to attending law school, Robert worked as a Domestic and International Logistical Analyst for Oshkosh Truck Corporation in Oshkosh, Wisconsin where he gained substantial skills in procurement, logistics, and materials planning.
