PROFILE

John Tatlock is a trial attorney counseling and representing individuals and companies in all phases of litigation, in both federal and state trial and appellate courts across the country, and before arbitration tribunals.  He has defended personal injury and property damage claims in product liability and toxic tort litigation involving historical use, disposal, and contamination relating to a wide variety of chemicals, including PCBs, TCE, TCA, PCE, benzene, and chromium, and in cases involving groundwater contamination and occupational exposure.  He has represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of commercial disputes and claims, including fraud, securities enforcement actions, trade secrets, contractual disputes, and class actions.  Based on his representation of private equity funds in both transactions and litigation, John is uniquely positioned to assist funds and fund members with emerging issues relating to fund agreements and distributions, member rights, and fund general partner retention.

A former university professor and public and governmental relations representative for a major multinational energy company, John’s diverse background and experience enables him to counsel and represent clients in a broad range of industries and an extensive scope of issues and potential claims.
