PROFILE

John Allen focuses his practice on Environmental issues.  During law school, he worked in the Pollution Prevention Assistance Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and was a member of the Georgia State University Law Review. 

As part of his duties with the Pollution Prevention Assistance Division, John assistance business with non-regulatory environmental issues such as hazardous waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation.  John also managed Division contracts, coordinated grant programs with the U.S. Department of Energy with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, performed training on topics such as environmental management systems and environmental cost accounting, and published articles on water quality issues.

Prior to attending law school, John worked as an engineer concentrating on environmental issues in the textiles and plastics industries.
