PROFILE
Lesley Anne Hawes is a member of McKenna Long & Aldridge’s Los Angeles Office. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy and insolvency law and receiverships.
Prior to joining the firm, Lesley was a member of the team of attorneys that successfully petitioned the United States Supreme Court and argued to a 9-0 victory in the Union Bank v. Wolas (In re ZZZZ Best) decision, resulting in the protection from preference attack of ordinary course payments on long term debt.
Lesley graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Southern California. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, where she was elected to both the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. Lesley has been a member of the St. Mel Parish Justice and Peace Council since 2002.
