PROFILE

Tim Horton is a senior litigation associate in the San Diego office of McKenna Long & Aldridge.  His practice covers a broad range of complex civil litigation and class actions, including general commercial and business litigation, intellectual property disputes, unfair competition and insurance coverage matters.  He also concentrates his practice on representing corporations as well as officers and directors in shareholder suits and federal securities claims.

Tim graduated from the UCLA School of Law where he was a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation and an active participant in the El Centro Legal homeless youth legal clinic.  He received a B.A. in political science and history from the University of California at San Diego, where he played lacrosse for the Tritons.

Tim was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1999 and practiced in the San Diego office of an international law firm before joining McKenna Long & Aldridge in 2006.  Tim actively serves the community with pro bono work through the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.
