PUBLIC POLICY AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS: DESCRIPTION

McKenna Long & Aldridge provides extensive assistance to clients around the country and Europe in the area of public policy. We regularly assist clients with matters pending before federal agencies. In the legislative arena, we draft legislation, testify before legislative and executive bodies, advocate the passage or defeat of legislation, pursue administrative action and generally assist clients in the development and implementation of programs to affect public policy decisions.

We have substantial experience in election law and campaign contribution matters (including the formation and regulation of political action committees) and have represented a number of the firm's clients in proceedings before the Federal Election Commission.
