Experience
Carol works closely with senior management to develop and execute a human capital strategy to meet the firm’s business objectives and reinforce the firm’s people-centric culture. She works collaboratively across offices and leads the HR practices and objectives to provide a service-oriented culture emphasizing engagement, quality, productivity and excellence.
As the CHRO, Carol reports directly to the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for providing leadership and direction of the HR function to include diversity and inclusion, recruitment and retention, training and development, total rewards and employee relations for non-lawyer employees. She has firm-wide responsibility in the areas of employee benefits, legal and regulatory compliance, risk management as well as oversight in local office administration and administrative services.
Carol has over 20 years of experience in working with law, risk management and accounting firms in the areas of HR management and operations. She has obtained certification by the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Carol is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, World At Work, The Society of Human Resource Management and participates in the Law Firm HR Roundtable as well as the Firm’s Diversity and Retirement Plan Committees.
