Experience
Anne Cherry Barnett represents clients in complex matters involving mass toxic tort, products liability and professional liability defense. Her clients include chemical manufacturers, heavy equipment manufacturers, utility companies, trucking companies and legal, insurance and financial industry professionals.
She has handled all phases of litigation, including hundreds of plaintiff, percipient and expert witness depositions and trial. Ms. Barnett has also obtained significant victories for her clients through sophisticated law and motion practice.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Barnett served as a legal research attorney for the presiding judge and all trial departments at San Francisco Superior Court.
Ms. Barnett obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law where she was an Arthur Zief Jr. Scholar, a Technical Editor of the Maritime Law Journal, Vice President of the Student Bar Association and Panel Chair of the Women’s’ Law Association. Also during law school, Ms. Barnett served as an extern for the Honorable Ksenia Tsenin, Judge of the Superior Court, San Francisco.
