Mr. Pollak has spent more than twenty years working in investment banking, finance, and politics. His experience enables him to translate how policy decisions will impact a business’ bottom line. Mr. Pollak creates and executes effective business strategies to maximize results. His political insight gives clients the advantage of making proactive business decisions while working with policy-makers to ensure their interests are protected.
Mr. Pollak’s investment banking experience came from his time at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, PaineWebber and UBS. Mr. Pollak’s investment banking experience includes work in the areas of municipal bonds, asset management, public-private partnerships, and land-use.
In addition, his political background is extensive, most recently serving as the New York State Director for the Obama for America Campaign. From 2006-2008 Mr. Pollak served as Co-Chairman of the New York State Democratic Party, where he was unanimously elected by Party members. He is an At-Large member of the Democratic National Committee as well as a member of the DNC's Credentials Committee.
Mr. Pollak continues his affiliation with Pegasus Capital Advisors, L.P, a private equity fund manager that provides creative capital and business solutions to middle market companies. In this capacity he is uniquely suited to advise clients on their business issues.
Mr. Pollak is a board member of the Community Service Society, the Center for Arts Education, and Advocates for Children. He is active with the Arab American Institute based in Washington DC.
Mr. Pollak is a regular political commentator on MSNBC, RNN, NY1, the FoxNews Channel and CNN. He has also been on Air America, National Public Radio, WNYC and WWRL in New York, and WIOD in Miami.
