Experience

Robert (Bob) Schuda defends the interests of clients in a wide range of issues involving environmental law and policy, including groundwater and soil cleanup, environmental planning, hazardous waste management, air emissions, and pesticide registration and data protection. He also counsels clients on specific issues impacting California port communities.

Before joining McKenna Long & Aldridge, Mr. Schuda practiced law as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard, and was responsible for Clean Air Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Toxic Substances Control Act, Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammal Protection Act matters. He also managed Coast Guard involvement at dozens of contaminated hazardous substances sites nationwide.
