Experience
Margaret M. "Maggie" Joslin is the managing partner for the Firm's Atlanta Office. She heads the public finance practice and focuses on public and corporate finance. Ms. Joslin's experience encompasses nearly every publicly marketed tax-exempt structure utilized in the past decade, including general obligation and revenue bond issues, tax increment financings, pooled transactions, municipal lease and lease-purchase transactions, certificates of participation, refunding issues, issues subject to tenders and to multiple interest rate modes, and issues that are credit enhanced.
Ms. Joslin has substantial experience with various derivative products including interest rate swaps, interest rate locks, detachable call options and inverse floating rate bonds.
Ms. Joslin has also been involved in numerous corporate finance and merger and acquisition transactions, including negotiating and drafting bank credit facilities, product supply agreements, asset and stock purchase agreements and strategic alliance agreements.
Atlanta Magazine has recognized Ms. Joslin as a "Georgia Super Lawyer" in 2004 - 2009 in the area of Government Law. In addition, Atlanta Business Chronicle has recognized her as a leader in the law and accounting industry in their 2009 Power Book.

Civic Activities:
- Ms. Joslin is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Civic League for Regional Atlanta, an organization established to engage citizens of metropolitan Atlanta in regional solutions to regional issues. The objective of The Civic League for Regional Atlanta is to serve as the Atlanta region's civic league, addressing important issues of regional significance by performing research, educating the citizenry and leadership, building consensus, advocating for the greater public interest, and developing social capital in the Atlanta region.
- Ms. Joslin served as Chairman of Research Atlanta during 2004 and 2005, prior to the merger of Research Atlanta, the Atlanta Metro Group and the Regional Leadership Forum to form the The Civic League for Regional Atlanta.
