Experience
David M. Ivey advises both publicly-traded and closely-held businesses on a wide variety of general business matters, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures and general contractual relationships. He has particular skill in the payments industry, having managed over 100 M&A transactions in that industry.
Mr. Ivey has served on Boards of Directors, Audit Committees and Compensation Committees of several public and private companies. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Valor Equity Partners, a Chicago-based private equity fund, and Invision Capital, a Chicago and California-based private equity fund.
Mr. Ivey is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the Corporate Law category and has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer by Atlanta Magazine from 2005 to 2009.
