Experience
Jess Pinkerton focuses his practice in the area of complex commercial real estate transactions. He has extensive experience representing institutional lenders/servicers and owners/developers in connection with the acquisition, development, financing, disposition and leasing of a broad range of commercial real estate projects, including student housing, mixed-use, office buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes, condominiums, hotels/resorts, churches and banks.
Mr. Pinkerton's experience includes structuring, drafting, negotiation and closing various types of secured and unsecured financing with respect to such projects, including REIT financing, mezzanine financing, conduit lending and conduit loan assumptions and modifications. His practice also includes substantial experience in connection with commercial real estate workouts and loan restructurings.
Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine recognized Mr. Pinkerton on their 2006 and 2008 lists of Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Stars, and Georgia Trend included him among Georgia’s Legal Elite for 2008. He is also listed in the 2008 edition of Legal 500 (U.S.).
