Experience
Bill Stevens works primarily in the area of advising and representing the interests of clients lending money secured by real estate projects and of clients purchasing completed projects, whether entirely for their own account or through joint ventures with others. He currently spends a significant amount of time advising portfolio lenders and loan servicers on non-bankruptcy restructurings of problem real estate loans.
Mr. Stevens has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America as one of the best real estate lawyers in the U.S. for over 20 years, and is listed in Chambers USA as one of the leading real estate lawyers in Georgia. He also has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer in Atlanta magazine for the past six years and listed among Georgia Trend's Legal Elite for 2008.
Mr. Stevens frequently speaks before legal and business groups on a variety of legal topics and has published articles on a number of legal topics and contributed to newspapers and periodicals on topics of current interest.
