Experience
Charles E. "Chuck" Wilson III has extensive experience representing technology-related corporations and other business entities in the areas of general business activities, contracting, licensing, intellectual property protection, employment, employee and executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, securities law, corporate finance and corporate governance. Mr. Wilson represents corporations in raising capital through debt financing and public and private sales of their securities. Additionally, he assists numerous clients in structuring employee, officer and director benefit and incentive compensation programs, including programs using corporate securities.
His work in the area of employment law includes advising employers on anti-discrimination laws, employment policies and handbooks, employment agreements, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements.
Mr. Wilson acts as special counsel in advising boards of directors and committees of boards of directors in responding to business combination proposals. He also represents venture capital firms in investing in technology-related enterprises.
Mr. Wilson was elected by his peers as a member of Georgia Trend magazine’s 2008 Legal Elite. In 2001, 2002 and 2004, the Atlanta Business Chronicle included Wilson in its "Who's Who in Technology ."
