Rupa G. Singh represents high-technology, biomedical, and manufacturing companies, as well as individuals, in complex civil and commercial litigation matters. Representative cases in which Singh has successfully litigated disputes ranging from contractual/licensing matters, trade secret misappropriation/unfair competition claims, legal malpractice issues, and intellectual property disputes are as follows:

Singh's pro bono advocacy won her annual awards from the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program. Her contributions to the bar have since been recognized by the County Bar Association's 2007 "Service to Diversity" Award. Singh received her J.D. (cum laude) in 1999 from the New York University School of Law, where she was an associate editor of the NYU Law Review and published a Note on the role of international regimes in enforcing marine environmental laws. She received her B.A. in both English and International Relations (magna cum laude) in 1996 from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and completed a thesis in international relations.  From 1999-2000 she also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Irma E. Gonzalez, U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.
